This strip was originally published on January 22, 2013 over at

I've decided to try and consolidate all the creative stuff I've done online here in one place, and this site seems to be the best place for all that stuff.

All the podcasts I do are here. They are also on their own sites, but again... consolidating.

So it makes sense to pull over the web comic that I did with Harold C. Jennett III.

And so, here is the first strip - A Lackluster Start.

The thing that I love most about this strip is that, despite the fact that Harold and I have never actually been in the same room with each other, this is pretty much how we decided back then that we were gonna do a web comic together. There was no planning, nothing was scheduled out, no outlines, we just had a very basic idea and we just ran with it.

Harold and I would come up with the ideas for the strips, I'd do most of the writing, and Harold would do the art.

I'd help with flatting and at one point I lettered the strips, but Harold did all the line work and shading and all that as well as most of the lettering.

All in all we did close to 100 strips, but then life, as often happens, closed in on us and we realized we just didn't have the time to really continue with the strip.

And, if I'm being completely honest, and I think I am, while we'd get the occasional feedback, we didn't get a lot, which makes one feel like either no one was reading them, or if they were, they weren't enjoying them.

But recently, Harold and I have been talking about the possibility of bringing the strip back, because, again, if I'm being honest, I think we both rather miss it.

What I don't miss, however, is the near silence the strips created from the great open maw that is the internet.

So I've been testing the waters a bit. And by that I mean that I've been posting the strips out there on Twitter and Instagram to see if anyone is at all interested in a possible return.

The best way folks can show me that is by liking the Tweet or liking the Instagram post.

Which you, Dear Reader, if you've made it this far, can do as well. And I'll even make it easy for you. I'll give you the links directly to the Tweet and Instagram post for this strip and if you feel so inclined, you can like them in one, or both of the places.

I'm looking for 50 likes, at the least, just to show me that people care or want to read the further adventures of Steeven and Harold because, and once again I'm going to be honest with you folks, I've written up a bunch of new scripts.

Scripts that Harold hasn't even see yet, but I think he's going to like them once I am finished with the particular storyline I've started in on.

Until then, show us some love...

Thank you, there is more to come!
