Hello and welcome to the first edition of the Saturday Morning Post, a weekly post where I share with you something that I enjoy and hopefully, you'll enjoy it too.

This week, I want to talk about The Aquabats.

I'm not going to go into a lot of detail here because frankly, I'm thinking of doing a series of podcast episodes about them on Just Another Fanboy, but here's the skinny:

The Aquabats are a band going back to the early 90s with roots in ska, punk, new wave, and synth rock. They took on the personification of a band of super heroes that also rock the stage and they each have their own super hero name:

The MC Bat Commander on vocals, Crash McLarsen on Bass, Eaglebones Falconhawk on guitar, Jimmy the Robot on keyboards, and Ricky Fitness on drums.

They've put out a number of albums over the years (Crash!! being one of the best) and they also starred in their own TV on the Hub Network for two Seasons called The Aquabats Super Show!

There is so much more to say about these guys, but again, I'm going to save all that for the podcast episodes I haven't started yet, but until then, here are some highlights from the band and the show for you to enjoy.
